The Cumberland Ale
Keswick MOUNTAIN Festival 2008
Wednesday 14th May to Sunday 18th May
The Wainwright Society and members are pleased to support the 2008
Cumberland Ale Keswick Mountain Festival.
During the week of the Festival, The Wainwright Society will be raising
funds in aid of Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team with a challenge called
The North Western Ascent.
This challenge is based on the 95 routes
of ascent shown in Alfred Wainwright’s Sixth Pictorial Guide, The
North Western Fells. You could choose to climb one or more fells
from Catbells to Robinson. The choice is yours!
All participants in the Challenge must be members of the Wainwright
Society.
So, get your boots waxed in readiness for your North Western Ascent!
