Wainwright Society Walks for 2008

Below are details of walks we have arranged for 2008. Two of these are prior to Society events – namely the Autumn
Dinner and the Memorial Lecture.

BOWSCALE FELL AND BANNERDALE CRAGS

Walk before the Memorial Lecture

Ten Society members had a most enjoyable walk from Mungrisdale village between Penrith and Keswick and climbed two of the Northern Fells, Bowscale Fell (2,303 feet) and Bannerdale Crags (2,241 feet).
