YHA are holding their first national Open Day on September 15th 2012, where you can join in with various activities and have a tour of hostels (more).
YHA tells us 'This nationally coordinated event will see hostels across England and Wales opening their doors, to give our local communities the exclusive chance to sample a taste of YHA life! From trying your hand at activities such as archery, to learning how to navigate with a compass- there will be something on offer for everyone. Our YHA teams will also be offering guided tours of our hostels- a great chance learn more about the historical and architectural gems in our care, as well as exploring what ‘modern’ hostels can offer'.
Visitors can also take a moment to rest and relax in the stunning countryside that our hostels offer, and enjoy the view with a hot drink and tasty treat! So start spreading the word, September the 15th is National YHA Day- our doors are open, pop by and say hello. Join us for a fun and free day out on your doorstep!
