2012 marked the 10th anniversary of the formation of the Society and our challenge celebrated three other Wainwright anniversaries: 60 years since the first page of the Pictorial Guides, 50years from the publication of The Northern Fells and the 40th anniversary of Walks on the Howgill Fells. The resultant 60-50-40 Challenge Book is A5 and has a full colour cover and 196 monochrome text pages.
This year we have reverted to the format of having members’ reports and their photographs for each walk as well as quotations from AW’s writing.
This is a limited edition of 200 copies.
