To join the Society, complete the online application form below.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Membership of the Society is for a Calendar Year beginning on 1st January. If you decide to join the Society part way through the year (1st January – end of June), your membership will be due for renewal on 1st January the following year.
However, if you join the Society on or after 1st July – end of December, your next year’s membership will be included – effectively, up to six months FREE.

Welcome Pack: As a new member you will receive a Welcome Pack, which includes your membership card, the latest copy of the Society magazine, a lapel badge and a car sticker. If members require more than one Society badge, these can be purchased, at £3.50 each. For details of how to purchase please contact the Membership Secretary.
Data Protection: The information you give to The Wainwright Society will be treated with care and confidence, and never sold. We will only give your information to other organisations where that is necessary, for example to fulfil an order you have placed with us. We will send our quarterly magazine and official papers to you by post and may communicate with you by post or telephone when necessary in connection with your membership. We use email sparingly to update our members with Society news and events, campaigns and matters of interest to members. But we can only do this if you consent, by ticking the box in the form below.

How to pay: Membership of The Wainwright Society costs £15 per calendar year for U.K. members and £20 per calendar year for overseas members. You can pay in any one of three ways online or you can pay by cheque (see below)::
a. PayPal: After completing the online application form below, you will be directly to our payment page. Click on the PayPal button and follow the instructions. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by this method.
b. Standing Order: Please ensure that your first payment is made now, and that subsequent payments are dated 1 January, as subscriptions are for the calendar year. Please quote your name and membership number (if known) as a reference.
If you join on or after 1st July 2025 your next Standing Order payment should be dated 1st January 2027 etc.

c. Internet banking: Transfer the money to the Society’s bank account (details above). Please quote your name and membership number (if known) with the payment.
Note: The Society does not have the facility to accept direct debits.
d. Paying by cheque: If you wish to pay by cheque then download the Membership Application Form and send with your cheque made payable to ‘The Wainwright Society’ to: 14, Vicarage Close, Langford, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, SG18 9QS.
