The 2022 Beneficiary- Animal Rescue Cumbria

The Society has chosen Animal Rescue Cumbria as its main beneficiary for 2022. This year will be their 50^th anniversary. AW became its chairman in 1974 and was a major benefactor, donating royalties from his books during his lifetime. Our donations this year will be used for a much-needed project at their base at Kapellan, near Kendal for the benefit of the shelter’s cats. There will be a fuller article in the Spring issue of ‘Footsteps’.
