The Wainwright Society 2023 Photographic Competition Now Open

This year there are two categories:

• Wainwright Country — the location of the photographs should be in areas associated with Wainwright;
• British Countryside — the location of the photographs can be anywhere else in the British Isles and should capture the beauty of our countryside.

Members can enter one, or both, of the above categories, submitting up to two photographs in each category (a maximum of four photographs if both categories are entered).

Photographs should be submitted in digital format only to photocompetition@wainwright.org.uk

The last date for entries is Sunday 28 January 2024.

Val Corbett will choose a winner and runner-up for each of the two categories. Val, an Honorary Society Member, lives on the eastern fringes of the Lake District and has been a freelance photographer for more than 30 years, regularly contributing photographs that have graced the front covers of Footsteps.
