Coronavirus (Covid-19) & Society Events: Update

In the light of the ongoing government restrictions on movement and the likelihood these will continue for some time, it has been decided to cancel the Memorial Lecture scheduled for 3^rd October. This decision also took into consideration that, even if restrictions are eased before that date, there might not be sufficient opportunity beforehand to publicise the event and allow for adequate ticket sales. The Society walk planned for that date has also been cancelled.

The 2020 Photographic Competition is still taking place and we are pleased to announce that we will be holding a Poetry Competition (a welcome return after nearly ten years since the first Poetry Competition) – both are open for Society members and their families to enter. Full details of these competitions are in the Activities and Projects sections, respectively and in the Summer issue of Footsteps.
