The M.V. Teal was taken from Bowness down Windermere to Lakeside from where the group headed to Finsthwaite Tower, Finsthwaite and High Dam before returning on the M.V. Tern
Carrock Fell – Joint walk with the Royal Geographical Society
The walkers met on a cooler Saturday morning than we’ve had recently, which was a quite welcome change, and had a very interesting walk over Carrock Fell (2174ft), to Lingy Hut and down past Carrock Mine
