Reference: Footsteps, Issue 89, Spring 2025, page 7 'A Spring Walk on the Pennine Journey'

We're delighted to have made an initial contribution of £1,500, on behalf of Society members, to this year's charity beneficiary, the Great North Air Ambulance Service

2025 is the 70th anniversary of the publication of the first Pictorial Guide, The Eastern Fells, (1955), and also the 60th anniversary of the official opening of the Pennine Way in 1965.

Members please note that the eighty-eighth and final Challenge was allocated on January 8th. However, do not be disheartened about missing the opportunity to participate in this event, an important tradition of our Society
